I LOVE!!! this dryer. It's lightweight, portable, and dry's my hair twice as fast as before. I have curly hair so the diffuser is a regular tool. Unfortunately, the one that comes with it is a bit on the small size (perfect for travel) but I purchased a 'snoozle' adapter that allows me to use my black orchid diffuser. So now I have the PERFECT pair.

I do like the dryer and diffuser but there are a few quirks that I wish were different. First, I wish the cord were just a little bit longer-it seems like it is just a tad short compared to my last dryer. Also, because of the placement of the button to change the temperature settings, I have mistakenly changed my temp from warm to hot a number of times. Speaking of temps-the hot setting is HOT. You must not lay the dryer on anything that could melt when you finish. I’ve started using the cool option for several minutes to finish my hair before I cut it off. I stupidly put my dryer in my hair basket after using it and it touched one of my hair bonnets and distorted the fabric. I’m glad it wasn’t worse. And lastly, the dryer is loud. Very loud. Admittedly, my other dryer was 15+ years old so I know I’m behind the times on upgrades. Lucky for me I got new noise cancelling ear buds for Christmas so I just pop them in when I use. Even with the above mentioned, I am enjoying the dryer. The dry time is shortened and (maybe) I have less frizz.

I’ve had this hair dryer for about a month, and I agree that it does dry your hair faster. It probably saves me about 15 to 30 minutes of drying time. I like that the diffuser is magnetic, which ensures that it will stay attached to the dryer as it’s being used. I like the weight of this dryer; it’s not heavy, even with the diffuser attached. I also appreciate the feature that allows the air to cycle through hot and cold as I’m diffusing my hair. I need heat to diffuse my hair properly, and this cycle helps to ensure that I’m not barraging my hair with heat the entire time it’s being dried (Once, I tried using only cold air to diffuse my hair…not a good idea). Love the price point! I will not spend $400-500 for a hair dryer! My only complaint would be the cord could be longer. With that said, I highly recommend this dryer.

Very satisfied. Takes definitely more than few minutes to dry my hair, as I have normal silky hair type. Took me about 20 minutes for a full blowdry but the result is very nice. Hair is not heated and it’s a great option for traveling. Customer support was great along the way!

I love my new Laifen hairdryer. I was sceptical about the faster drying time but it really does have some magical powers! I really like the cool setting which I use at the end. It is more light weight than I thought it would be and fits nicely into my luggage. I had to contact customer service with a question about the diffuser and they were very nice and helpful. Overall very happy with all aspects of my new purchase and it does such a great job on my relatively short hair!

I love this product! The power takes a little bit to get used to but it is amazing and dries may hair in half of the time of a traditional hairdryer. The three heat settings is incredible as well. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

The Laifen is a lot better than my previous Conair Diffuser that I had. I love that it is very compact and super lightweight. I also played around with the autocyle mode. My drying time has reduced tremendously. I also don't face any heating issues so that's a plus. The only only small down side is that the diffuser cup is not quite deep. So for someone who has a hair length similar to mine, it takes longer than expected as now I have to dry smaller sections of hair. I'm hoping this can be improved in future. Would like to see Laifen come with attachments keeping in mind folks with longer hair length. Other than that I absolutely love the sleek design, weight and everything else

I read the reviews, I watched the videos and this hairdryer doesn't disappoint. It's fast, light, easy to use and gentle on my hair. As some have mentioned, the cord is quite short which is tricky for UK users who don't have electric sockets in bathrooms. I'm glad I took a chance on this brand.

I have wavy/curly colored long hair that can easily lose its curl. I have seen improvement with the Laifen, but I have also recently added a water softener system to my home, lol. I love the silver blue color, the smaller size, and the quiet motor so as to not awaken my spouse when I am up early drying my hair. Great price compared to others of its quality. I pray that it lasts a long time. Magnetic attachments are wonderful too.

I wish I had of gotten it sooner. Works great. My curls look amazing. Such a cool little hairdryer but so quick drying. I don't use the hot setting, its too hot. Medium heat is lots. The magnetic attachment is space-age!! Everything about it is classy and sleek and ultra modern. It delivers everything you'd expect. This thing proves "quality is worth the cost".

There‘s not much I don‘t like about the dryer. The cool heat setting really is cool, without having to hold a button. I also like the revolving heat setting, constantly switching between cool, medium and high. With the diffusor the wind is perfect for curly hair. The dryer is lightweight and far less loud than my old one. But the cord is definitely too short, I need an extension. Shipment to Germany from a Europe-based warehouse was quick, unfortunately the separately ordered diffusor was shipped from China though.

All that can be said is that this is the perfect choice for both professional use and at home, cool design, incredibly powerful, and the mixed drying mode is simply incredible. I recommend it to everyone! Especially with the Laifen Swift Quick Styling Nozzle

I was going to buy a Dyson and then I got redirected to you in my search. At first I was hesitant, but upon looking at the measurements, I thought I’m gonna give this a try! I love this hairdryer, but I’m very disappointed that it did not come with a diffuser. So I had to spend extra money, not seeing that I actually had a $10 discount, for a diffuser it had to be dispatched from China and they said 5 to 8 days, but it has been literally more than that and I still haven’t gotten it. I didn’t buy the kit with the diffuser in it because it had other parts I didn’t need ! There’s a lot of curly girls out there and I’m one of them so just the dryer and the diffuser would’ve been great

Having had “regular” blow dryers for most of my life, and dealing with the damage the heat can cause, I find myself facing a learning curve. I love the thing, so far. I’m growing out a pixie cut, so ask me later how it is going. I will say so far, it’s good!

This is a fantabulous hair dryer. It cuts my drying time by way more than half. My hair is much softer, less frizzy & less static than the conventional hair dryer. I like the compact design too. I recommend this dryer to everybody!

Best hairdryer I've ever used. This dryer is lightweight and so powerful. I've only used the low heat and low speed. It's more than enough. Then I put it on cool and fan myself before I put on my makeup. I did have it on high speed once, I thought it was going to blow the mirror off the wall (just kidding), but it definitely is strong. Another advantage is not only does it not have blades, your hair can't get sucked into the back of it.

Wow. Excellent and better than expected. Like everyone, I was comparing this to the more expensive brand. I think this is the smarter choice and am very impressed. It's a huge improvement over my $40 Conair 1875W cool shot hair dryer I used for nine years. I don't miss that it died. The Laifen appearance is great. Minimalist and simple. Well-balanced and feels light. The attachments are magnetic and I'm happy there are two different concentrators as a choice for styling. The noise level is a huge improvement over a Conair "Quiet" dryer. The Laifen sounds only like a rush of air. You barely hear the motor at either level, it's more like wind. I'm sure I can even use this on my dog after giving her a bath and she won't mind. I think this will lower stress and protect my own hearing. The drying power is ideal. The low speed moves a nice volume of air, not wimpy. The high speed is very powerful yet still allows some control. The temperature choices are no heat, medium and high as displayed by the light ring. Medium heat is hot enough for styling, but not so hot you'd worry about damaging hair. High heat will definitely make you keep the dryer moving and avoid lingering on skin. To style my short straight hair with a round brush, I am using low speed with medium heat. High speed will dry faster, but will look wind swept if that's what you want. The cord is heavy duty soft rubber, not plastic. It's easy to manage and resists tangling. The 6-foot length is taller than me, so I wouldn't want it any longer.

Powerful and quiet I have really been enjoying use of this hair dryer over the last few weeks. I have pretty thick hair, and this is powerful enough to dry my hair rather quickly. It’s easy to hold, lightweight, and compact enough that it would make a great option to travel with. My favorite part about it is how quiet it is - Hair dryers really have come a long way since back in the day…!

The attachment nozzle is so easy to use the magnet that attaches it is extremely snug it won’t be falling off easily at all it has a 360 range of motion as well which is amazing for getting those blow out angles. Quiet but strong. One of the nicest hair dryers I have ever used. It is really quiet compared to anything else and I like the light to indicate the temperature. The magnetic diffuser is unique. Also lightweight and easy to handle. It also seems to dry my hair faster than my old conventional hair dryer. I should time the difference one of these days when I'm not in a rush.

Drying my hair no longer feels like “arm day” at the gym Seriously, this thing is amazing! Although I’m exaggerating in my title, because my hair is thinning now, and doesn’t take as long to dry it, than 10 years ago, when it felt like arm day at the gym, with older style DEAFENING hair driers. This is quiet, and so lightweight, and powerful. Whooo boy, it was so fast to dry my hair with this, with my thinning hair, i was done in minutes, which is great if you lack upper body strength. My hair is wavy at the front and quite curly at the back, so I’d like to get a diffuser for it, but i was able to dry it easily, and it had great volume in my hair. It’s wayyyyy cheaper than the name branded alternative, that looks like this, that i could never have afforded, never would have dropped that many bucks on a hairdryer. This product makes me question, if we’re getting this one for this price, why is the alternative such a high price? Obviously, the technology is highly similar, (not that i know anything about ions and stuff) but if people know about this, why would they buy the D one? I’m stoked with this product. I love that it’s small enough to fit in your suitcase and travel with, because hotel hairdryers are nothing but a breath of hot air, ineffective at styling, and they take a long time to dry your hair. Convenient and quiet I’m really enjoying this Laifen hair dryer as the size is smallish and lightweight and I love the magnetic attachment. There are two setting for speed, high and low and there are 3 heat setting to choose from with a color change associated with each heat setting. This blow dryer is doing a good job of drying my hair and I like using it because it’s lightweight and quiet.

Lightweight easy to use This hair dryer from Laifen works very well for drying my hair, it's lightweight, not too big but it still puts out plenty of air, hot or cool. My hair wasn't left frizzy due to the negative ions that we can't see but are there, my hair was also shiny and soft. It dried my hair quickly, the noise factor wasn't as bad as the older type hair dryers. It's a nice looking dryer with led lights on it to show you the temperature of the sir, the controls are easy to use, it comes with a magnetic nozzle.

Well Worth the Money This hair dryer works well and have a very friendly price. It’s beautifully designed and simple to use. The product itself came in a well designed box with one attachment nozzle. The power of the hair dryer is just right and there’s minimum noise level compared to other hair dryers. So far the hair dryer seems very high quality and durable for everyday used. Customer service was also very responsive about my questions about the dryer so that’s a plus.

Oh, dear I must confess that I don't understand why any blow drier that's not gold-plated should sell for 10x as much as the average one but... inflation. If this one's price doesn't change for a year or two then the competition may be able to catch up. Seriously speaking, it is a good quality item. I found it to be surprisingly quiet, quite small and therefore well suited for travel and gentle to hair. Neither my hair or my hands or my face got burned or inconvenienced in any way during the blow drying operation and that did not seem to affect the amount of time needed to finish the job. The alleged 200 million negative ions produced, and I did not count them myself but that's what the makers claim, should help hair stay detangled for longer than otherwise but this whole 'ions' thing could be just snake oil, I can't tell myself. So, in brief it's a good tool, well designed, good quality, appears to be durable and does a good job. The only problem: not easily affordable.

It has never been like this before. The design is modern & beautiful. Also it´s very small as well as light weight, so it´s easy to take it with me everywhere. This is a true high tech hair tool. Worth Every Penny - SOOOO Happy With This Product Having been a BaByliss convert for years, I didn't think it would be possible to find something that I liked as much. Recently, I needed to replace my Pro and decided to take a chance given the other positive reviews and a growing need to cut down time spent on prepping in the morning. From my first use, it was clear this machine is a friggin' boss! It dries so fast and so precisely that I was done with my hair in about five minutes. Normally it takes me about 20 minutes. Also, my hair is baby smooth (a miracle in itself) and I have almost no fly-aways to deal with. In terms of weight and noise, it feels marginally lighter to me and same for the noise reduction, but nothing to blow your hair back (get it?! ;D). It took me just a bit to get used to the vent being in the handle but that was easy. Also, I LOVE the magnet attachments. This thing is QUALITY!
